Celebrating Shivani’s work and life
Shivani was fearless, strong, and devoted to her passion. She could have been bitter and depressed as a result of her diagnosis, but instead she decided to express herself through art and poetry. This art exhibition is to showcase Shivani’s life's work, as well as everything she adored.

Launch of Doodle Mind : An anthology of poems
A collection of Shivani’s poems and illustrations with themes ranging from mundane objects and nature, to fears and insecurities; cancer and depression, to self love and understanding. It is a 10 year story of sunshine, hope, fear and loss.

Exhibition of selected artwork
Curated selection of artwork by Shivani spanning more than 13 years. A gifted artist, she found beauty and wonder in the simplest of things; a dragonfly, a rainbow, cute looking stationery or a delicious mango.

All proceeds from the sale of book and art will be donated to the Holla Breast Centre Foundation in Bangalore, India
The foundation is housed at the Holla Breast Centre in Jayanagar, Bangalore, and is directed by Dr. Soumya Holla, a breast surgeon. They provide free care for impoverished breast cancer patients, including surgery and chemotherapy. The foundation believes in the inclusion of equal treatment for breast cancer patients.
Tribute by Anand Bhaskar
Professional musician Anand Bhaskar, who is well-known for his soulful music, will perform a solo homage to his childhood friend on June 19 at 05:00 PM at Bangalore International Center, Indiranagar, Bangalore.
Shivani was always that friend I could confide in and she was always the one who wouldn’t hold back on her criticism for my actions. She was unwittingly an amazingly positive influence on everybody around her. She’s the catalyst that made me move to Mumbai which as a consequence led me to a career in professional music. There’s simply way too much she added to my life without even realising it herself. I’ll always miss her. I wish I didn’t have to, I will. God bless her soul.

Drawing fashion came naturally to her. She was always fascinated with the 1920’s fashion.
Her poems were often dark. Even though she was smiling on the outside, her poems sometimes betrayed the inner despair.
In her darkest hour, she chose to write poetry and express to the world, what she was feeling.
